Watch this

Edit: Okay so I know most of you aren't realistically going to be sitting there watching that 80 minute video. You may be a little bit confused as to what Google Wave is, so to give a very brief description of it I would say that it is kind of like Email and Instant Messaging combined, but with much more. It's very hard to explain without actually seeing it for yourself, but it's pretty fucking neat if I do say so myself. Currently it is pre-beta so there are still a lot of annoying bugs and kinks to work out, and the system does run pretty slow sometimes, but overall it's still a fun program to mess around with.

Google Wave is currently invitation only, so you'll have to find a friend or some random guy online with some invitations that they're willing to give away. Good luck with that!

I'm trying to get a wave embedded on the site but to do that I need the help of someone who can edit the source code (admins/mods). I've already talked to sharks and pompousclown about this a little bit and you two seemed to be a little stumped as to how you could go about doing this. I think I've found some guides that may be of assistance. Check these out:

http://www.victusspiritus.com/2009/10/15/how-to-embed-google-wave-on-your-wordpress-blog/

I think you still may need a "WaveID" from me, which I can now provide accurately. The WaveID for the wave I want to test out is "uUSmpUBEF" Just let me know when you're ready to test this out. The sooner the better I think so we can figure out exactly how to incorporate this into the website best.

Edit: Yeah so now I've actually figured it out. The only problem we have is that the WveID was entered incorrectly, so just replace whatever it was before (I think I gave you my username) with the code mentioned above (uUSmpUBEF). That should do the trick!

Important Edit: (As if anyone payed any attention to this stuff anyway) So the problem with the green screen was that I had the wrong WaveID. I now know that my actual WaveID is: googlewave.com!w+9wEkpHp-B  The other thing I've realized while figuring out the problem is that you have to actually have a google wave account o be able to see the wave. This is currently somewhat of a problem but I have a solution in mind, so don't worry about it too much  Roll Eyes.
