*dies a bit* but in a good way i swear, its amazing i see this and remember one of the reasons toonami was so amazing, they could put something together and it would be so amazing looking you would want to see it even if its outside your interests.

We couldn’t agree more with you. But we will probably be showing some of the awesome western cartoons since as Toonami was about the Best Action cartoons on the planet not just anime and occasionally the west gets their action cartoons right ^_^.

Dude……I am speechless, I have been here following your guy’s progress from almost the very beginning, even before I signed up for a forum account, and I was always in awe, like “wow, this looks great I hope they finish this to the end.” But this is beyond that, from the finished new tom to the sara in progress to this amazing new intro, you guys have done an amazing job. Especially with this intro, it feels like I’m actually watching a brand new toonami promo, seriously..amazing dude. It just goes to show what you guys can do when you put your mind to it, like most things it might take some time, but in the end it was totally worth it..sweet! :3

I’m going to start watching this on Hulu tomorrow. Sadly, I finished X-Men Evolution, but makes room for Gurren Lagann!
Awesome intro! The look and feel screams Toonami! And, the music is well-sequenced with the clips. Just, that for that one second or two where the title card is being displayed (after the whoosh and the beeps), there’s no sound other than the music, and it sounds a bit dead. Gotta have a signature sound in there. Pipes (Tom 1-2) had the energizer and Gothic (Tom 3) had the creak, for example.

I agree with you about the sound. Oddly enough that was one of the hardest things since I’m not a sound artist and I have to go searching for suitable sounds. It’s certainly something to think about in my further work with the project. Thanks for the comment.

As for the sounds, try talking to _res since that seems to be more his area of expertise.

Toonamis been a show i loved since i was 4 when i first started watching it im 14 now and have always want and hope for something like this unforutely many of my friends are any fans except myself and havent growen up knowing this amzing show i beileve your project idea is great ! and this website yove done what i dreamed too do! dont quit at it guys i cant wait to see the project

Everyone knows Toonami’s best spots were for American cartoons. That JLU promo still gives me goosebumps. Plus, American cartoons are just better.

yah sure ben 10 an american cartoon sure was great…(rolls eyes) hell even my 5 year old cousin knowsa that america usassly suck at making good action and violent cartoons and anime i say besr american amdeONTOONAMI was IGPX,mXLR AND SAMURI JACK (I MAY BE WRONG IT SEEMED AERICAN MADE THOGUH TO ME LOL)

I wouldnt say they suck there are creators who would love to do more and put more action in the cartoons but they cant due to the FCC regulations and the network standards. Japanese anime doesnt have to worry about this too much and because the Fan base for Anime in US is growing they port the shows here but usually have to play them at night due to the content. If you look at shows today when they get to an action scene it looks like a comic book clip.

Fortunately you guys wont have to choose between anime and western cartoons. Just as Toonami had both coexisting in awesomeness, so shall NeoToonami.

You would be on it. There is a tab at the top of page that is called “The Stream” you will click on that. When we get it up and running you can then watch toonami there. Currently we are sill in the design phase for the ship, and some of the intros/outros. Check out the forums for more info.
